Multi Touch in Windows 7

Google AdSense Now Supports Third-Party Ad

Google (NSDQ: GOOG) on Monday said now they accepting third-party ad tags on the Google content network in North America.
As per Google senior business product manager Rajas Moonka “This will empower advertisers to work with approved third parties to serve and track display ads, including rich media ads, across the Google content network through AdWords, giving them more options, flexibility and control over their campaigns,”

Google seems to have in a process to review third-party ads to make sure they comply with the company’s format and content policies that will definitely help both the publishers and the advertisers. [More]

Starting up with Dreamweaver

Dreamweaver is one of the popular tool for both expert professional web designers and newcomers, it is easy to learn and let you work focused on your creative work, check how you start with dreamweaver;

* Install Dreamweaver
* Using the menu bar, Click on site option to publish your site
* click on New Site in Site Menu
* After you do so, the site Definition Window  will appear, here you have to simply type your project name say xyz.
* By Default it shows ‘Unnamed Site 1?.
* Step 2 asks you for 2 options

1) Yes I want to use Server Technology

2) No I do not want to use Server Technology

Select the suitable option as per your requirements if you are using PHP/MySql or etc

* For example, if you’re using PHP/MySQL you can choose the first option and select PHP/MySQL option that you can see in the Drop down.
* Step 3 will ask you- the local machine path where you are going to save the files.

* In next step you need to specify the technique you are going to use to connect to the server i.e FTP , Local /Network etc. In  illustrated example we are using FTP
* In the text below specify your domain name without protocol and not (yourdomain.com).
* Below that specify the remote folder path where you are going to upload the files i.e public_html
12) next your user name and password
13) To test the connection click on the button below
14) Then simply click next.

You have done! Now enjoy working on dreamweaver.

Password Protect a Directory in cPanel

In cpanel, by using “Web Protect” You can password protect directories within your web site from unauthorized users.

Check here the steps to password protect a directory:

* Click on the “Web Protect” link under the “Site Management” header in cPanel.

* Navigate to the directory that you want to protect. Select a folder by clicking on the folder name link, or open a folder by clicking on the folder icon.

* Click on the tick box next to the LOCK icon. (Make sure you do this, most people miss this step)

* Enter the name that you want to appear in the “Protected Resource Name” field.

* Click on the Save button.

Normally, you should add at least one authorized user to enable access to the directory. Check with “Adding an authorized user” information at cPanel knowledge base.

Now exit out of all of your browser windows to make sure your password protect is working and to avoid browser caching issues.

Create Custom Error Pages with cPanel

Error pages helps you especially when a user type misspelled URL, the customize error pages let them to reach specific page that you intend to take them on.

Here is the way you can create or modify a customized error page:

* Click on the Error Pages link under the “Site Management” header in cPanel.
* Click on the button of the required error page, such as the 404 button.
* Enter the HTML code for the error page. You can use the buttons at the top of the page to insert variables into the displayed code.

Click on the save button. Your page for the selected error should now appear as your custom page.
